  15. In a previous message, I described the general structure of the
  16. glossary that was defined by the board based on the feedback at the
  17. workshop and input from individual contributors. That structure is now
  18. frozen and the final document will only be allowed to deviate slightly
  19. from it.

  21. In this message, I again outline the structure. Then, the
  22. recommendation of the editorial board for distributing glossary
  23. entries among three sections (Section 3, 4, and 5) in the glossary is
  24. presented. Your input is now solicited. Please send proposals for
  25. concrete changes to the distribution to tdbglossary@cs.arizona.edu by
  26. Friday, August 13, 1993.

  28. Over the next two weeks, we will also attempt to consolidate primarily
  29. the entries in Sections 3 and 4. Note that the template for glossary
  30. entries has now been changed and includes an optional part,
  31. "Explanation." Consolidation includes adding explanation parts to
  32. entries, clarifying definitions, proposing revised definitions, etc.
  33. Your input is requested. To be considered, proposals for changes must
  34. in principle be formulated as complete glossary entries (the template
  35. may be found below), and it should be indicated which entry each
  36. proposed entry supersedes. Initial proposals should be sent to
  37. tdbglossary@cs.arizona.edu by Friday, August 13, 1993. Recall that the
  38. deadline for completion of the full document is 10 days later.
